Surfing!

Since Audrey has surfed before, I asked her to give me a lesson on Monday. We decided to head out after the sun had disappeared and started our lesson as it was drizzing. Once we got into the water, the rain had stopped, but it was still very cloudy. This was ideal because it meant that there were less people on the beach and in the water for me to embrass myself in front of. I was actually a quick learner and was able to actually stand up a couple of times on the board and ride some waves!! I even tried to join Audrey on the outside to catch waves from there, but after one failed attempt, I decided to head back into the broken waves to get more practice. Overall, it was really fun and am excited for our next outing.
