I caught the 9:15 AM ferry to Sydney, which gets into downtown around 9:45 AM, then caught a train to a Central station, which is a station that has almost all the trains coming into that station. Here's a map of the crazy trains around the city and surrounding suburbs.

Unfortunately, my train to Ikea wasn't coming until 10:25 AM, so I was stuck on the platform for almost a half hour. The only good thing was that I was planning on meeting a friend at this platform and both of us got there around 10:00. Ikea was a short walk away from the station, and we ended up arriving around 11:00 AM. So from door to door, it took me 2 hours to get TO Ikea.
We shopped around and I picked up some stuff that we needed for the apartment. Ikea is laid out exactly the same as any other Ikea, which is very comforting. We ate the food there, which was also super cheap. They have a cone of soft serve for only 50 cents! But that actually is more expensive than McDonalds, where you can get a cone of soft servr for 30 cents!
I didn't get back into my apartment until around 3:15 PM and I was exhausted. After setting up all my new goodies, I was finally able to unpack the rest of my clothes. While waiting for David to come home, I ended up falling asleep and not being able to get up for the next hour or two so David had to cook the rest of dinner.
Today's goals include getting an ATM card, finding a place to rent surfboards and get lessons and finding the cheapest place to get those essential paper products.
So I have all these little things that I think are funny/weird that occurs in Australia, so at the end of each blog, I think I'll post about it. For the first one, it's obviously going to be food related. Instead of Burger King, they have a place called Hungry Jack's, but it's the exact same logo as Burger King. I still have to test it out to see if it has the same chips (fries) as the US, so I'll let you know!

Sounds like you guys are having a blast... way more fun than I am here in San Diego... I am currently playing catch up with school work as I went to a wedding last weekend- I have to tell you about it sometime. It definitely was not your typical wedding!
